As a web designer I look after many web
sites for customers - do I have to have a
seperate login and password for each?

Yes - we have found that is it is generally far simpler (and more secure) to give a seperate FTP username and password for each set of web space you have.

This is especially true if your customers will want to be able to access their own web space to upload data to update their site.

In certain circumstances we are able to let a designer with a large number of sites put them all under one FTP username / password - if this would be of use to you please contact us for more details.
