What is a domain name?

A domain name is used to identify and locate computers on the Internet.

Internet domain names provide a system of "easy-to-remember" Internet addresses (i.e. www.your-domain-name.com) which are translated by the DNS system into numeric IP addresses used by computers on the Internet.

An Internet domain name is "unique" and allows
you to have an "identity" on the Internet.

Domain name registration costs from as little as £30 for 2 years - for more details of charges see "What will it cost?" - or see "Why do you need a domain name?" for the reasons why you need one!

If you have not registered your name
- what are you waiting for?

If you already have a domain name - skip to Step Two for details of our web site hosting and email services or see our section on Domain Transfer for information on how we may be able to save you money!
