Web / Email Services - What do you get? Web Space
We provide 20Mb web space
as standard (although also offer packages with 100Mb or more if required!). We have found this to be sufficient for most web sites (less than 5% of our sites have required more than this!). This is normally enough for about 300+ web pages (assuming an average 50k page size).
However, if you require even more space then additional web space can be purchased in 10Mb increments (at very low cost!) and added to your account within minutes.
Unlimited Email Addresses
You can have email as anyone@your-domain-name.com forwarded to your dialup account or a single email account anywhere on the Internet. There are some "technical" restrictions over the total
length and characters that may be used in an email address but generally you can use almost anything - for example: sales@your-domain-name.com or firstname.lastname@your-domain-name.com etc. The destination email address
for email forwarding can either be a mailbox on our system (if you take your Internet dialup access from us - see Step Three) or an email address anywhere on the Internet.As an additional option you can have Individual Email Mapping to allow mail to be sent to multiple different email accounts - this is
especially useful if you have people using multiple dialup accounts at different locations who all want a address@your-domain-name.com style email address.
Web Statistics
We log all accesses to your site into a database - these are then analysed giving very detailed web statistics for all accesses to your web site. These detail the total number of accesses, accesses to each HTML page and
file, referrer agents and lots more. If required we are able to offer enhanced, more detailed log files with bespoke analysis of the data. This is useful for busy sites so you can see accesses per page and more! -

FTP Account
You will be given a user name and password so you can transfer information and update your web site using a standard FTP program.
Server Scripting & Extensions
We offer a range of standard CGI programs and server side processed extensions. These include a form to email processor (allows output from your online forms to be sent to you via email),
multiple "hit" counters (up to 999 counters enable you to see how many people are visiting your pages), a random HTML block
application (used for advertising banners and providing "dynamic" content on your web site) and more!
