Change the registrant of an OpenSRS domain name

OpenSRS domain names include the following extensions:

• .com
• .net
• .org
• .info
• .biz
• .eu
• .tv
• .me
• .co

It is important to note that we can only accept registrant change requests from the current registrant and for domain names managed by us.

What you need to do

To change the registrant of one of these domain names you will need to raise a support ticket and include the following information:

• Your domain name(s)
• Your customer number
  • You will find this on any invoice or renewal notice that we have sent to you.
• The details of the new registrant including:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Company Name (optional)
  • Full Postal Address
  • ZIP code / postcode
  • Country
  • Telephone Number
  • Email Address

Once we have received and verified your request, we will make the necessary changes and confirm by reply that your request has been completed.

The new registrant will then receive an email asking them to confirm their email address. It is very important that they complete this process; otherwise, the central registrar may suspend or delete the domain name.
